Dr. Xue Hong Assistant Professor of Law, University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law Research Fellow of Information Society Project, Yale Law SchoolDr. Xue was elected as one of the Ten Nationally Distinguished Young Jurists by the China Law Society and granted the Special Governmental Allowance for prominent contribution to social science by the State Council. She was also awarded the Outstanding Young Researcher Award from the University of Hong Kong. After serving as a founding member of the ICANN At-Large Advisory Committee for four years (2003-2007), she is one of the experts in the ICANN President’s Advisory Committee on Internationalized Domain Names. She is one of the founders of the Internet Users Organization in the Asia-Pacific Region. |

| Winnie Lam Year Four, LLB, University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law Winnie Lam is a final-year law student at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to her legal studies, Winnie worked in SGS Hong Kong Limited and Clariant China Limited as senior business development executive, exploring business opportunities in Greater China and Asia. Her interest in travelling and her language skills in English, Cantonese, Putonghua and Japanese have enabled her to develop her career path in a multi-cultural environment. She is looking forward to the new challenges in her legal career in the near future. |

| Stefanie Lai Year Four, LLB, University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law Stefanie Lai is a fourth-year law student at the University of Hong Kong. She is of a great interest in intellectual property, information technology and media law. She studied media law in Copenhagen in 2007 and thus gained some knowledge of how it applies in the European Union. Through this internship with the Cyberlaw Clinic, she hopes to gain knowledge on this fledging area of law and its regulations, as well as an international perspective. She will strive to aid the development in policy in order to “tame” the world of cyberspace. |
