Ross Nakasone is a public policy analyst currently working as a legislative coordinator for San Mateo County in California. Mr. Nakasone’s policy work includes initiatives such as AB 1326, a San Mateo County child care pilot project.In addition to being a former member of the Board of Directors for Community Technology Alliance, Mr.Nakasone previously worked with California State Senator Byron Sher as a field representative doing outreach for community groups and the public. He also worked on initiatives such as the “No on Proposition 22” campaign.

Mr. Nakasone also worked with the Parks and Recreation Division of the County of San Mateo as a grant writer. Mr. Nakasone holds a law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.A. from U.C. Davis with a double major in Art Studio and Art History and double minors in Education and Asian American Studies. He is a member of the State Bars in both California and Hawaii, and he resides in San Francisco.
